      What is a Stripe account and why do I need one?

      This option can be found under Groop Settings for GroopPay .

      A Stripe account is required to transfer funds to your requested bank when a user pays an invoice via the Groop platform. Stripe provides the technical, fraud prevention and banking infrastructure required for on-line payments. 

      The settings area will change when you have successfully completed the Stripe activation (see below).
